Vocation Groups
Vocation Groups
At the Center for Faith & Work (CFW), we believe that every vocation is a calling from God, encompassing all areas of life. Our Vocation Groups foster a community where individuals can explore their callings, develop their skills, and integrate their faith into their work. Whether you are an artist, entrepreneur, educator, or in another field, our Vocation Groups provide a supportive environment to grow, connect, and thrive.
We are excited to launch this new initiative in Fall 2024. Join us in building a vibrant community where faith and work intersect in meaningful and transformative ways.
3 Purposes of Vocation Groups
Equip
Equip
- Provide Christians with a biblical framework for a theology of work, and therefore will have eyes to see their industry through the lens of the biblical story (creation, fall, redemption, restoration)
- Encourage Christians and give them new motivation for their work
- Facilitate theological reflection on the creational structure and direction of each vocation’s unique sector of work

What to Expect:
What to Expect:
Joining a Vocation Group at CFW means becoming part of a dynamic community dedicated to mutual growth and support. Each group meets regularly to engage in meaningful discussions, share experiences, and participate in practical workshops. You can expect a mix of teaching, peer mentoring, and collaborative projects that will challenge and inspire you. Our groups are led by lay leaders who offer guidance and resources tailored to the group’s specific needs. Together, we aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of how faith can inform and transform our vocations.
