Vocation Groups 2026-2027

Details

Vocation Groups are monthly communities of Christians in the same industry who gather to build meaningful friendships, pray for one another, grow in vocational wisdom, and encourage one another in following Christ through their work. Together, we seek to integrate faith and work as agents of renewal in our workplaces and throughout New York City.

Meeting Schedule & Locations
Groups meet monthly from October through April including Arts, Education, Finance, Healthcare, Legal and Tech, with December off.

• Arts Vocation Group: 2nd Monday of the month, 6:30-8:30pm at Redeemer West Side (150 W 83rd St, 4th Floor)
• Education Vocation Group: 3rd Tuesday of the month, 5:00-7:00pm at Redeemer East Side (150 E 91st St, 10th Floor)
• Finance Vocation Group: 3rd Monday of the month, 6:30-8:30pm at Redeemer West Side (150 W 83rd St, 4th Floor)
• Healthcare Vocation Group: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6:30-8:30pm at Redeemer East Side (150 E 91st St, 10th Floor)
• Legal Vocation Group: 2nd Thursday of the month, 6:30-8:30pm at Redeemer West Side (150 W 83rd St, 4th Floor)
• Tech Vocation Group: 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:30-8:30pm at Redeemer East Side (150 E 91st St, 10th Floor)

• September 22: Vocation Groups Launch Night – 6:30-8:30pm at Redeemer West Side (150 W 83rd St, 5th Floor)
• December 8: VG Christmas Party – 6:30-8:30pm at Redeemer West Side (150 W 83rd St, 5th Floor)
• May 11: End of Year Celebration 6:30-8:30pm (Location TBD)

Eligibility
Vocation Groups are designed for those actively working in or pursuing a professional vocation in their field, whether full-time, part-time, freelance, self-employed, or currently seeking employment within the industry. These groups are intended for practitioners engaging the realities of their profession, rather than those exploring a field as a hobby or general interest.

If you are exploring a different vocation, making a significant career change, or retired from the field, these groups may not be the best fit at this time. We’re grateful for your interest and happy to recommend more relevant programs and opportunities.

Cost
The cost is $100 for the season and helps cover dinner and program materials.
