The Center for Faith & Work invites you to participate in the Vocation Lab, an interactive 5-week course designed to help you discover and embrace your calling within God’s greater story. Whether you’re facing a career crossroads, feeling uncertain about your next steps, or seeking greater clarity and direction, the Vocation Lab offers practical and biblical teaching, exercises, and practices to help you move forward confidently. Join us in this journey to discern the work God is calling you to do and take purposeful steps toward your future.

5-Week Vocation Lab Overview:
Week 1: DEFINE – Understanding Your Place in God’s Story
Define your unique place within the grand narrative of God’s story. This session helps you look up and see the bigger picture.
Week 2: DISCOVER – Understanding Who I Am in the Story of My Life
Discover a deeper awareness of how God uniquely designed you. You’ll learn to gather the pivotal pieces of solving the puzzle of your calling.
Week 3: DREAM – Imagining the Next Chapters of Your Story
Dream about the future by setting long-term, intermediate, and short-term goals. This session helps you look ahead and map out the next steps in your journey.
Week 4: DECIDE – Discerning Your Next Vocational Steps with Wisdom
Learn to make confident decisions about your next steps, free from anxiety and doubt.
Week 5: DO – Practical Steps to Get You Started without Pressure
Implement practical steps to start your journey without feeling pressured, ensuring sustainable progress.
An additional 6-10 hours for homework, research, and interviews will be required throughout the program. All sessions will be held at W83 Ministry Center (150 W. 83rd St).
About the Instructor:
Paul Sohn is the Director of Redeemer’s Center for Faith & Work, with over a decade of experience in equipping Christians to lead integrated lives informed by the gospel. He is the best-selling author of Quarter-Life Calling. His work has been recognized by Christianity Today, where he was named one of the Top 33 under 33 Christian Millennials to Follow in 2014, and he received the John C. Maxwell Leadership Award in 2016. Paul holds a Master of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and a Master of Arts in Bible Exposition from Talbot School of Theology.
