Managing Leadership Anxiety Workshop with Steve Cuss

November 4 @ 6:30 pm 9:00 pm EST

Do you find that anxiety hinders your effectiveness as a leader? Does the inability to recognize anxiety—both in yourself and those around you—leave you trapped in unhealthy patterns?

The Center for Faith & Work invites you to Managing Leadership Anxiety, an interactive workshop where you’ll gain essential tools to transition from being controlled by anxiety to effectively managing it. Led by author and expert Steve Cuss, this workshop will equip you to:

  • Identify where anxiety lives
  • Learn sources of anxiety and how to overpower them
  • Break the “stuck” patterns in your thinking and assumptions
  • Understand how your anxiety relates to the behaviors of your team or family and vice versa
  • Notice God’s involvement in all your life spaces and how the Gospel displaces anxiety in each one

About the Speaker: Steve is the author of Managing Leadership Anxiety: Yours and Theirs and the founder of www.capablelife.me, an online community that helps you lower anxiety, relieve pressure and relational tension so you can be connected, aware, and present. Steve learned these tools while serving as a trauma and hospice chaplain. Steve has served in various pastoral roles for 26 years, the majority of those years as a lead pastor. He has served a variety of companies, including Colorado University Hospital’s Neuro Research, Magnolia Home Furnishings, Chick-fil-A, and Be Mobile Verizon Franchise.
