SUMMARY:Join a Vocation Group 2025-2026 (Fall Launch)
DESCRIPTION:In every field and industry\, Christians are asking: Where can I wrestle honestly with what my work is for and who I’m becoming through it? What does it look like to follow Jesus in a culture that often values everything but Christ? How do I discern when to stay\, when to speak\, and when to walk away? \n\n\n\nGod cares deeply about the work you do and the person you’re becoming through it. Vocation Groups are monthly\, industry-specific communities of Christians who wrestle with these questions alongside others who understand their world. Vocation Groups are designed to connect you with peers in your field\, equip you with theological wisdom for your work\, and mobilize you to live out the gospel in the calling God has entrusted to you. Whether you’re just starting out or long established\, this is an invitation to grow in Christ\, not apart from your work\, but right in the middle of it. Vocation Groups launch this fall in Finance\, Legal\, Tech\, and the Arts. For more details and FAQs\, visit our Vocation Group page. \n\n\n\nEligibility for Vocation GroupsVocation Groups are designed for those actively working in their field full-time\, part-time\, or freelance. If you are in a season of exploration\, transition\, or retirement and not currently engaged in the industry\, these groups won’t be the right fit at this time\, and we’d be glad to recommend other opportunities.  \n\n\n\nDates & Commitment Groups meet once a month from September through May (with a break in December) for a total of 8 sessions. The program begins with a Launch Night on September 23 and wraps up with a Celebration on May 12. Meetings are 2 hours in the evening and will take place in person at the W83 Ministry Center. We ask participants to make every effort to attend all sessions and to complete all readings/reflections before each meeting. \n\n\n\n\nLegal Vocation Group – 2nd Tuesdays: Oct 14\, Nov 4\, Jan 13\, Feb 10\, Mar 10\, Apr 14\n\n\n\nArts Vocation Group – 2nd Thursdays: Oct 16\, Nov 13\, Jan 15\, Feb 12\, Mar 12\, Apr 16\n\n\n\nFinance Vocation Group – 3rd Tuesdays: Oct 21\, Nov 18\, Jan 20\, Feb 17\, Mar 17\, Apr 21\n\n\n\nTech Vocation Group – 3rd Thursdays: Oct 23\, Nov 20\, Jan 22\, Feb 19\, Mar 19\, Apr 23\n\n\n\n\nWhat To Expect:• Industry-specific community with people who understand your daily realities• Formation around calling\, ambition\, rest\, and purpose• Encouragement to persevere in faith amid real vocational tension• Space to be known\, challenged\, and supported in your discipleship at workPlease note: Space is limited for this pilot year\, and groups will fill quickly. This session helps you look ahead and map out the next steps in your journey. \n\n\n\nWeek 4: DECIDE –  Discerning Your Next Vocational Steps with WisdomLearn to make confident decisions about your next steps\, free from anxiety and doubt. \n\n\n\nWeek 5: DO –  Practical Steps to Get You Started without PressureImplement practical steps to start your journey without feeling pressured\, ensuring sustainable progress. \n\n\n\nAn additional 6-10 hours for homework\, research\, and interviews will be required throughout the program.
